Introduction

The Sustainable Aquaculture Practices Workshop is designed to empower participants with knowledge and skills for responsible and efficient aquaculture production. In an era of increasing demand for seafood, sustainable practices are essential to meet global needs while preserving ecosystems. This workshop focuses on critical areas, including water quality management, feed optimization, species selection, disease control, and environmentally friendly farming techniques. Through interactive sessions and practical demonstrations, participants will learn to enhance productivity, reduce environmental impact, and ensure long-term profitability. Whether you are a seasoned aquaculture professional or a newcomer, this workshop provides valuable insights to foster sustainable growth in aquaculture.

Workshop Objectives

01. To equip participants with techniques to minimize the ecological impact of aquaculture activities, ensuring sustainable use of natural resources.

02. To teach effective strategies for maintaining optimal water conditions to support healthy aquatic species and reduce waste.

03. To introduce innovative feeding practices that maximize growth while minimizing costs and environmental impact

04. To provide knowledge on identifying, preventing, and managing diseases to ensure healthier stocks and reduce losses
